Reference for Emile's genderbended form, Emiline.

-tuning pins are not on the sides of the neck but are hair pins (enables her to sing)

-is less silly singing and speaking with a high pitched voice than as a male

-slightly nicer than male form, she blames it on her femininity and is a bit dismayed by it

-the birds perched on her fingers are Armand and Starling!Armand, he is her vocal instructor, despite being mute. <3

She seriously needs to wear more lace. Mirecourt is where she is from and they are known for manufacturing instruments, especially violins. They are also known for their lace, which is a nice bonus. Seriously, this is amazing;;; [link]

"La Belle Dame Sans Merci" is from a poem by John Keats,
which is confusing because I quoted the poem "Confession" from Charles Baudelaire's Fleurs du mal.
But "La Belle Dame Sans Merci" means "The Beautiful Lady Without Pity", which fits.

"It’s stupid to build on the mortal heart" is exactly how Emile feels about making friends, this was his twisted logic. He rarely smiles, but he is starting to smile more often than not because of friends.
