Bleuette is a doll that was produced from 1905 to 1960 in France. (10 - 12 in) Rosette is a slightly bigger doll that was Bleuette's big sister. Mignonette was a type of french pocket doll. (4 - 5 in)
So ... Rosette the oldest is precise, patient ,strict, confident, and knows best for her sisters. Bleuette is the middle one and is outgoing, energetic, implusive and is the one to go on adventures, or sail the seas. Mignonette is the youngest and a bit shy, and oversensitive but sweet and caring.
They're all bisque dolls. I based these OCs of mine on dolls that were orginally manufactured by Emile Jumeau. The dresses I drew here are inaccurate as hell, mind you, but are based on Edwardian sailor suits worn by children and Victorian dresses as well. I couldn't decide her personality so I ended up with three different ones. < A >)
All three are known as "ette" . My concept is that ette is a dolling (doll + changeling) - I have more personas in mind, but these are the main three. They are all the same person, she just changes her appearance and has many personalities.
But for my sanity, Mignonette will be the character I'll develop further and am using for a upcoming group. --- ALSO GAISE LOOK AT THIER FABULOUS FACES: BleuetteRosette --- bg is made of fabulous free textures from pixiv and photoshop magic. --- Rosette will probably be needing twin mirrors... <--updated
The idea of a dolling is so interesting! Dress accuracy has its place, sometimes you must just run freeee~! *v* Their outfits are really adorable, they look really nice together on top of that, like a perfect little shelf display huwa'gdksgsk
thank you so much ;u;/ I really like words and word meanings, I always remembered that "ette" means diminutive or little and it seemed fitting. The name possibilities are also endless... and I was itching to design some things. their expressions = :I I just used photoshop's mask option, it's so magical T u T
